Peru's Ministry of Health (CDC Perú) reported 42,440 cumulative dengue cases and 48 deaths in 2026 through epidemiological week 31 (data cutoff 8 August 2026), a 41% rise on the 30,103 cases recorded over the same period of 2025. Deaths are concentrated in San Martín (12), Lambayeque (10) and Madre de Dios (8).
