Where is data hosted?
Database: Supabase, Frankfurt (Germany, EU). Emails: Brevo, Paris (France, EU). No data outside the European Union.

What happens if you cease operations?
Your data belongs to you. CSV export available at any time. In case of shutdown: 90-day advance notice and full export provided. Three structural protections: (1) data sources are public — WHO, ECDC, PAHO and Africa CDC remain accessible regardless; (2) bootstrapped by design — no VC runway to run out, profitable from month one; (3) standard stack (Vercel + Supabase + Next.js) — any developer can self-host from the repository.
What is the bus factor — what if the founder is unavailable?
The infrastructure runs autonomously: Vercel crons sync data hourly, alerts fire automatically, no manual intervention required. Short-term absence has zero impact on service. For Enterprise contracts, a portability clause is available: self-hosting documentation and full export on request.
