Poliomyelitis (wild poliovirus, WPV1) in Pakistan - 3 confirmed WPV1 cases since the start of 2026 (as of 22 July 2026), in Sujawal (Sindh), Bannu and North Waziristan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), per Pakistan's National Emergency Operation Centre for Polio Eradication. GPEI's country update of 22 July 2026 reported no new Pakistani case that week. Pakistan is one of two countries with endemic wild poliovirus transmission, a WHO-declared PHEIC.
