International food safety event: infant formula and other products contaminated with cereulide toxin, linked to arachidonic acid (ARA) oil used as an ingredient. Between 1 January and 25 February 2026, 144 suspected and confirmed cases were reported across 10 countries in three WHO Regions; contaminated products were distributed to 99 countries and territories.
